This course series features one handbuilding workshop each month, designed to help students build confidence and expand their skills with clay. Through a variety of projects, students will explore pinch, coil, and slab-building techniques while learning how to shape, refine, texture, and glaze their work to create finished ceramic pieces.

What you’ll learn
Each course is three 90 minute sessions:
Class 1: Build, where you’ll work with the clay to make the shape
Class 2: Refine and embellish
Class 3: Glaze
Materials
Students will be charged a $10 materials fee, which will provide between 3-5 lbs of clay, glaze, and firing of the finished product.
