Discover the art and joy of handbuilding with clay while creating an elegant ceramic dove. Designed for all experience levels, this three-session workshop introduces the essential techniques of pinch, coil, and slab construction in a relaxed, supportive environment. Beginners will build confidence with the fundamentals, while more experienced makers are encouraged to personalize their project through form, texture, and decorative details. Along the way, you’ll become familiar with the makerspace clay studio, including its tools, equipment, and processes, so you’ll feel at home returning to create future projects. Members and non-members are welcome.

Class meets on the following dates/times:

Tuesday Sept 8: 6 – 7:30 pm
Tuesday Sept 15: 6 – 7:30 pm
Tuesday Sept 29: 6 – 7:30 pm

Please do not register if you cannot attend all meetings. Attendees must be age 14 or older.

There is a material fee of $10, which includes 3lbs of clay and glaze. This class is limited to 10 participants.
