Discover how to breathe life into older fabric items by learning various mending techniques.  You’ll leave this two hour class with the basics of patches, hems, buttons, darning, and decoorative embellishment.  All repairs taught can be done without a sewing machine, and you’ll receive a mending kit as part of taking the class.

About the instructor

Class is taught by Karla Seidel, a regular mender at the Fix-It Clinics who gained a positive reputation in her neighborhood decades ago as she repaired clothes for the neighborhood kids who came to visit her son.

This class is provided free of charge to all attendees as part of a grant from the Winona Community Foundation.
