Is your business or nonprofit looking to access the tools, space, and resources of the makerspace? Our institutional memberships allow multiple people access to the space at one time, as long as one person in the group has attended basic shop orientation and any training on specialized tools they might be using (laser engraver, CNC, etc). Consider buying your Institution Membership early and help us open this amazing resource!

For those with Questions
Where will the makerspace be?
We’ve secured a lease on the first floor of the former Technigraph building at 850 W 3rd St, next to Restore.
When will the makerspace open?
If we’re able to raise enough funds for our tools and for basic remodeling, we expect to take possession of the space September 2025 and to open in late 2025.
Why should I become a member early?
We can only open the space if we have confidence we can pay rent each month, and having members helps us cover our expenses. It also allows us to focus fundraising on tools and space preparation expenses, instead of operating expenses.
What if the makerspace doesn’t end up opening?
If the makerspace doesn’t end up opening, we’ll be refunding your membership. We’re committed to not using membership fees to cover our startup costs.
Can anyone from my organization use this membership?
These institution memberships do not have named users, so in theory any employee (or volunteer if nonprofit) can use the membership. There must be at least one person who has attended safety orientation and trained on any specialized tools at the space to supervise any other attendees from your org.
What if I’m an individual or a household?
If you’re not a business or nonprofit, please consider a Founders Membership, which gives you a discounted price and even more benefits.
